The Morning Edition segment on this book was included in the NPR Books podcast.
The segment includes an author interview, and some wine tasting of some of the unique wines encountered in this book.
Beyond wine, this book would appeal to those interested in American history and travel.

It was definitely a change from the mellow girl-voiced music that’s been shuffling into my player this morning while working…still, IMO it’s on the mellow side of techno.
Lately I have been weary of my caffeine intake, and have been experimenting with life-changes like herbal teas over coffee.
Then, I run across a recipe for Death by Chocolate Cappuccino. Dangnabit!
I need to read more on him - seems like an interesting person living at a pivotal time and associated with some of the most influential figures in American history - Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, etc.
The interview is focused on music, but I found it great insight from listening to them discuss how they are mobilizing their existing and future community members around a niche and passion.
What’s interesting is how they’re considering socialization, sharing something people are passionate about, and monetization all within the same efforts.
